When I think of action movies, I think of the 1990s. Films starring action icons like Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Nicholas Cage set the tone for the action films today. This was before the John Cena’s and Jason Stathams. Lionsgate recently came out with their new Ryan Reynolds branded,mystery/thriller film entitled “Buried” a while back. I finally checked it out,and agree with the top film critics’ positive opinion of the movie.

New Line Cinema recently released a new Anthony Hopkins,branded thriller/horror film “The Rite” into movie theaters. I just watched it,and thought it was pretty good. Screen Gems released a new comedy/action movie called “Easy A” into theaters a couple of months ago. I just got done watching it,and I agree with the top critics’ positive reviews on this one. It was great.

Fox released their new drama,action movie titled “Unstoppable” into theaters about 2 months ago. I just checked it out,and must say that it was an absolutely great movie.
